
Be mindful of others when setting off fireworks this Chinese New Year.
The KL Police Chief says you can only play with them until midnight, so as not to disturb your neighbours or disrupt public order.
He adds that this rule applies to all festivals.
This comes a day after cops said that only two types of fireworks are allowed during Chinese New Year, namely ‘Pop-Pop’ and ‘Happy Boom’.

Expect a clear Chinese New Year morning tomorrow.
According to MetMalaysia, fair weather is expected in most parts of the country tomorrow morning, but rain and thunderstorms are likely for Johor, Sabah and Sarawak.
Meanwhile, thunderstorms are likely in the afternoon and evening for central and southern parts of the Peninsular.
As for the second day of Chinese New Year, morning thunderstorms are forecast for Pahang, Johor, and parts of Sabah and Sarawak.
Isolated thunderstorms are also likely in several parts of the country in the afternoon and evening.

The JPJ says it seized 19 lories in Negeri Sembilan over the weekend for flouting the Chinese New Year heavy vehicle ban.
The ban, on the 14th and 15th and 21st and 22nd of February, is aimed at reducing traffic congestion and improving road safety during the festive period.
