Astro In Talks Over World Cup Coverage

Astro is now in discussions with the Malaysian rights holder of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, to broadcast matches on its platforms.

This includes on Astro, NJOI and Sooka, to ensure that matches are able to reach more viewers.

This, after Astro’s fair and competitive bid for the World Cup was unsuccessful.

Astro remains an exciting destination for Malaysian sports fans.

As the Home of Sports, Astro continues to deliver extensive coverage of many local and international sporting events including Premier League, AFC and UEFA Champions League and Formula 1.
