Azeem Hopes To Improve On His Asian Games Bronze

National sprinter Muhammad Azeem Fahmi wants to do better than the bronze medal he won at the last Asian Games, when he competes in this year’s edition later this month.

However, the national 100m record holder admits that this year will be a bigger challenge, because several of the continent’s leading contenders have clocked almost identical times this season.

Azeem adds that his Asian Games preparations have been going well, and will continue at this weekend’s GP Athletics Championships in Oman.
